1851 Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge

Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge.

I am currently a Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Research Fellow in the Department of Engineering at the University of Cambridge and a Junior Research Fellow at Wolfson College, Cambridge. I am working in Dr. Rob Foster's group and my research is focused on enhancing connection ductility for the safe design of timber structures.

Before joining the University of Cambridge, I was a President's PhD Scholar in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London, working under the supervision of Prof. Ahmed Elghazouli and Dr. Dan Bompa. My PhD research investigated the material and structural behaviour of rubberised alkali-activated concrete.

I hold a MSc (Structural Engineering) and a BEng (Civil Engineering) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. My MSc research, which was supervised by Prof. Raizal Saifulnaz, was on developing mechanics-based solutions for reinforced concrete beams.
